RealREPP, a national full-service recruiting firm, is partnering with a well-established General Contractor based in Palm Beach, Florida to assist in hiring an experienced Estimator! This Estimator will be a crucial addition to the team and will eventually become the Lead Estimator. Prior experience as an Estimator at a GC is required. Experience estimating on public projects & k-12 projects preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyzes drawings and uses applicable software to perform material take-offs for detailed estimates & provides unit cost pricing

• Assists with developing project updates and bid package estimate documents' comparison

• Tracks and adjusts quantities as needed

• Solicits subcontractor bids and partners with vendors to build relationships and obtain quotes

• Reviews RFPs, Basis of Design & drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate

• Presents information and responds to questions from internal departments

• Support Junior Estimators as required!

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience with a GC

• Bachelors Degree in Construction Management (preferred)

• Experience estimating on public projects and/or k-12 projects (strongly preferred)

• Local Florida market knowledge

• Experience with Bluebeam & Excel (required)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Effective people management skills

• Ability to manage and prioritize competing deadlines to ensure deadlines are met

• Bilingual (Spanish) a bonus!

Compensation Package

• Salary $100-125k (based on experience)
