Project Manager - Large Scale Commercial/Educational/Municipal Construction

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects within the educational, municipal, and commercial sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing ground-up construction projects for schools and government entities, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, execution, and delivery for construction projects

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met

• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety standards

• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, team members, and governmental bodies

• Prepare and present project updates and reports to stakeholders and management

• Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project outcomes

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations relevant to construction projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry

• Proven experience managing educational, municipal, government, or large scale commercial construction projects $20MM+ 

• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. scheduling software, CMIC, Plan Grid)
