Construction Worker

A registered Preapprenticeship program provides an avenue for youth who are at least 16 years old to become qualified to enter registered Apprenticeship programs at colleges or other post-secondary institutions. Preapprenticeship programs are sponsored and operated by State of Florida registered apprenticeship programs in the same trade or trades. Students participating in the program will be provided with a network of resources that provide a unique pathway to employment.

The Miami-Dade County Public Schools Preapprenticeship offers Preapprenticeships in career areas of Information Technology (IT) (Cybersecurity and Help Desk), Building Construction Trades, Education, Hotel Management and Data Scientist (Artificial Intelligence.)
