Head of Quality Assurance

We are Hiring: Global Head of Quality Assurance | Pharmaceutical Industry

A leading pharmaceutical group with a strong footprint across Latin America and Europe is undergoing strategic expansion and transformation. As part of this growth, we are looking for a Global Head of Quality Assurance to define and execute the company's quality vision across all markets and operations.

Objective:

Ensure world-class quality standards that enable global market access, including the U.S., Latin America, and Europe, while embedding a culture of excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and implement a unified global quality strategy.

Lead regional QA and QC teams, ensuring alignment with global KPIs and governance structures.

Drive compliance and excellence in internal audits and inspections.

Act as the primary liaison with global regulatory agencies.

Partner cross-functionally with Regulatory Affairs and Medical Affairs.

Build quality capabilities for global export readiness.

Lead digital transformation efforts.

Cultivate a strong quality culture and develop high-performing teams.

Candidate Profile:

Education:

Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering, or related fields. Master's or MBA preferred.

Experience:

15+ years in pharmaceutical quality roles, ideally within Big Pharma.

Experience with international regulatory agencies.

Proven leadership of multicultural, regional/global teams.

Skills:

Strategic thinking with strong operational execution.

Deep knowledge of international regulatory standards.

Familiarity with LATAM regulations.

Strong leadership, collaboration, and digital transformation mindset

Fully bilingual in Spanish and English, Portuguese a plus.

Location:

USA (hybrid – relocation to Miami is a plus)
