We're looking for a strategic and hands-on Director of Technology & Software Engineering to lead our technology efforts, scale our lending platform, and ensure compliance, security, and innovation at every step.

Role Overview

As our Technical Director, you'll oversee the development and optimization of our payroll-deductible lending platform. You'll lead technical teams, manage vendors, and collaborate across the business to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions that align with fintech best practices and U.S. financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

🔧 Platform & Infrastructure

• Design and scale our digital lending and payroll deduction systems

• Integrate with payment networks (ACH, digital wallets, payroll systems)

• Ensure robust cybersecurity, data protection, and fraud prevention

• Tech stack: React (frontend), .NET (backend), PostgreSQL, APIs

👥 Leadership & Execution

• Lead internal/external development teams and align tech goals with business strategy

• Drive innovation using AI, automation, and data-driven insights

🤝 Vendor & Compliance Management

• Manage third-party tech vendors and fintech integrations

• Ensure compliance with AML, KYC, and U.S. data privacy laws

• Build dashboards to track lending performance and reduce risk

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT management in fintech, lending, or digital banking

• 15+ Years of Total Experience

• Deep experience with digital payments, open banking, and payroll-linked tech

• Proficient in agile, DevOps, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field

• English required; Spanish a plus
