The ICOE is a single organization that brings together Avanade’s existing COEs (Center of Excellence) to deliver excellence at scale to Avanade and clients. The three missions of the ICOE:


The Primary Mission Within The SME Tower Is To Create Strong Client And Partner Relationships By Delivering Subject Matter Expertise Throughout The Sales And Delivery Lifecycle. The Key Activities For The Tower Include


A home for SMEs and Thought leaders – Avanade’s deep technical, experienced client-facing resources who can be at the “tip of the spear” with the latest Microsoft technologies, while also promoting best practices in any situation.


Driving advanced certification and technical eminence for SMEs, leveraging the breadth of experience in Accenture, Avanade, and Microsoft (and other technology partners) – becoming recognized as the place for specific technical resources across the organization.


Providing a clear technical career path for people to grow and develop, in line with the required certifications and experience, while offering the ability to cross-skill between solution areas and practices leveraging communities – Industry, LOB, technical, etc., as part of the new Integrated COE.


Working closely with the Solution Evolution & Asset Towers to ensure alignment with both solution area and practice roadmaps, while bringing the best of what the ICOE has to any engagement – client-facing deliveries or pursuits, solution area play evolution, practice asset leverage, industry specialists.


Supporting the Solutioning & Shared Services Towers with deep specific technical skills as required to differentiate client experience in both presales and delivery.


Supporting the solution areas, practices, LOBs, and play squads as required, with specific technical resources, while also acting as the conduit between the towers of the ICOE – for example, leveraging assets or harvesting collateral/assets for continuous improvement.

As a SME within the ICOE, you will support sales, solutioning and delivery for our regions globally. Primarily, you will be supporting European regions and hence are ideally located within a European time zone. You will support governance, digital modernization, surround and general Power Platform activation projects, including copilot studio and optionally intelligent automation efforts. You will collaborate with the solution evolution lead, the asset team, managed services and the client solutions teams to drive the agenda of Power Platform at Avanade. Keeping your Power Platform and all any related certifications up to date and complete will be required. Your main targets will be utilization based (a combination of BD and chargeable hours). You will be actively supporting our 3 missions in the ICOE:

• Advance our Solutions and LOBs

• Support Practice Development

The Power Platform Subject Matter Expert (SME) at manager or Group Manager level is primarily a SME in this space, experienced in Power Platform projects, both as part of presales, and sale engagements, but also experienced in Delivery.  Together we do what matters.


Skills And Experiences


• 5+ years working in Power Platform consulting within a large enterprise organization. 

• Solid understanding of the operations and culture at our ATC-I or Offshore centers 

• Ensure alignment of goals, team (skills) and priorities. 

• Deep knowledge of Power Platform offerings. 

• Ability to have C-level conversation with clients and internal stakeholders and can leverage existing relations in the field, both internal and external (e.g. Microsoft). 

• Deep understanding of Delivery Methodologies.



About You


• An effective and compelling communicator with experience of managing clients and stakeholders up to C-Level

• Able to create and deliver findings and recommendations in a clear and convincing manner.

• Passionate about trends and technical/industry thought leadership.

• A proven leader with strong influencing and negotiation capabilities

• Preferable a Microsoft Global Black Belt

• Understanding and experience of AI within this field is also a benefit.



What You'll Do


• Boost the sales across the globe but primarily focused on the region within which you are located. 

• Support driving power platform adoption across this region 

• Work closely with the Microsoft Product Team in Redmond to drive innovation. 

• Align with the Client solutions teams, and work across practices to promote, support and evangelize Power Platform and the associated roadmap, and ensure timely support from Microsoft when required.
