Report to: Â Â Â Purchasing Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt - Full Time

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Reports to the Purchasing Manager.
• Creates purchase orders to buy parts to support inventory and repairs
• Data entry required to utilize company's ERP system
• Must be willing to learn job functions required in company's ERP system.
• Buys supplies to support shops
• Must be willing to converse and coordinate with vendors via emails and phone calls.
• Must be cost conscious by having an awareness of costs; be careful about spending.
• Must be able to analyze stock levels based on current need and anticipated repair flow using information from existing contracts, knowledge of upcoming changes, etc. and make recommendations, as needed, for adjustments to stock levels.
• Maintain organization in the purchasing department
• Considered trainable in his or her field Â
• Some supervision is expected
• Must be willing to learn, and be trainable to advance in company
• Must be willing to follow company policies and procedures
• Understand, write, and read English and a knowledge of basic math.
• Dexterity with handling small parts and computer entry
• Follow company's procedures to help maintain parts in inventory
• Follow company's procedures to help maintain an accurate inventory

Requirements and Skills

• Required High School diploma or its equivalent
• Must have good communication and good social skills
• Must possess the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must be able to perform data entry
