Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Corporate Fixed Income Sales Trader to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on trader who can accurately price and execute fixed income securities including corporates and sovereigns across LATAM region, U.S. High Yield, and U.S. Investment Grade, directly with real-money institutional clients. In addition to strong execution skills, the trader must bring established relationships with end-client accounts, with a proven track record of both maintaining and growing client flows. This role requires a combination of market expertise, consultative sales ability, and entrepreneurial drive to uncover new opportunities and deepen relationships across a diverse institutional client base. Responsibilities:

o Execute fixed income trades across corporate and sovereign bonds in LATAM region, U.S. High Yield, and/or Investment Grade markets, ensuring accurate pricing, best execution, and adherence to all compliance standards.

o Maintain and expand institutional client relationships, with a focus on real-money accounts including asset managers, pension funds, insurers, and private banks.

o Deliver actionable market intelligence, trade ideas, and relative value insights tailored to client objectives and risk parameters.

o Originate new business opportunities by leveraging a strong network and deep market knowledge to broaden our institutional coverage across LATAM, the U.S., and offshore centers.

o Provide competitive and timely pricing, maintaining alignment with market conditions and optimizing execution through third-party and internal trading desks.

o Ensure full compliance by accurately documenting all transactions, working with onboarding and AML/KYC teams, and staying updated on regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.

o Support clients with post-trade, promptly addressing inquiries and ensuring a high level of satisfaction and retention.

o Contribute to team performance by sharing client feedback, market trends, and successful strategies in regular collaboration meetings.

o Stay informed on global and regional market developments, including economic, political, and regulatory changes impacting fixed income markets.

o Pursue continuous professional development through ongoing training, certifications, webinars, and industry engagement.

o Utilize trading technology platforms (EMS/OMS) and data analytics tools to enhance pricing efficiency, improve execution quality, and identify liquidity opportunities.

Qualifications:

o Bachelors degree in finance, economics, or related field.

o Series 7 Required.

o Minimum 5+ years of experience in selling fixed income within the emerging market, high yield and sovereign bond marketplace. Knowledge of local LATAM currency execution is preferred.

o Proven track record of acquiring and managing client relationships.

o Strong understanding of financial markets and investment products.

o Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to conduct thorough investment research and analysis.

o Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.

o Ability to work in remote environment or from our corporate office in San Juan, Puerto Rico

o Ability to travel up to 25%, where needed.
