Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Lead Agentic AI Engineer to design, architect, and implement cutting-edge autonomous AI systems that drive measurable business outcomes. This contract role focuses on building sophisticated multi-agent systems that can independently sense, plan, act, and reflect—transforming how businesses operate through intelligent automation.

You will work on goal-oriented agents that go beyond content generation to become true "digital business operators" capable of complex reasoning, multi-step workflow execution, and autonomous decision-making.

Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Architecture & Development• Design and implement production-ready multi-agent systems using advanced orchestration frameworks

• Build autonomous agents that can sense business context, plan workflows, execute tasks, and optimize based on outcomes

• Develop agent-to-agent communication protocols and coordination strategies

• Create scalable, maintainable agent architectures for complex business automation

Advanced AI Implementation• Implement SPAR methodology (Sense, Plan, Act, Reflect) for autonomous agent reasoning

• Build sophisticated retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems for context-aware agents

• Develop agent memory management and long-term context retention systems

• Create dynamic agent routing, escalation, and handoff mechanisms

Business Integration & Optimization• Connect agent behaviors to measurable business metrics and outcomes

• Implement real-time performance monitoring and agent optimization systems

• Design outcome tracking mechanisms for continuous agent improvement

• Build evaluation frameworks for agent decision-making quality and business impact

Technical Leadership & Collaboration• Collaborate with technical leadership on strategic AI architecture and platform direction

• Establish technical standards and development best practices for agentic AI systems

• Provide technical expertise and knowledge transfer to existing engineering teams

• Create comprehensive technical documentation for system maintainability

Required QualificationsCore Experience• 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering and system development

• 2+ years of experience specifically with Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI systems

• Proven track record of building and deploying production AI systems at scale

• Strong technical leadership experience on complex software projects

Technical Skills - Must Have• Programming: Expert-level Python development with focus on AI/ML applications

• AI Frameworks: Deep expertise with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar agent orchestration platforms

• LLM Integration: Advanced experience with OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, or equivalent models

• Prompt Engineering: Sophisticated prompt design and optimization for complex agent behaviors

• Vector Systems: Hands-on experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma) and embedding systems

• System Design: Strong architectural skills for distributed, scalable AI applications

Agent-Specific Expertise• Multi-Agent Systems: Experience designing systems where multiple AI agents collaborate and coordinate

• Autonomous Reasoning: Understanding of agent planning, goal-setting, and decision-making frameworks

• RAG Implementation: Production experience with retrieval-augmented generation and hybrid search strategies

• Agent Communication: Knowledge of inter-agent protocols and coordination patterns

Preferred QualificationsAdvanced Technical Experience• Experience with knowledge graphs and semantic reasoning systems (Neo4j, GraphQL)

• Multimodal AI experience (vision, voice, text integration)

• Function calling and tool use implementation in modern LLMs

• Fine-tuning experience with foundation models for domain-specific applications

• Cloud deployment expertise (AWS, GCP, Azure) for AI workloads

Specialized Knowledge• Background in conversational AI and dialogue management systems

• Experience with business process automation and workflow orchestration

• Knowledge of agent evaluation frameworks and performance benchmarking

• Familiarity with voice interfaces and speech-to-text/text-to-speech integration

• Achieve measurable improvements in automated task completion rates (target: 85%+ success rate)

• Build agent systems that can operate autonomously for extended periods with minimal intervention

• Transfer specialized agentic AI knowledge to internal team members
