What You Will Be Doing

• Orchestrating our signature 2-Hour Learning blocks where you'll help young learners navigate goals, maintain focus, and master our innovative tech platforms

• Reinforcing reading foundations by complementing the work of our specialized Reading team through consistent practice and habit-building

• Cultivating emotional intelligence, resilience and collaborative skills through thoughtful guidance and warm, consistent boundaries

• Monitoring individual progress with precision, identifying potential challenges before they become obstacles, and adapting approaches in partnership with your educational team

• Designing a learning environment that perfectly balances structure with joy - imagine the engagement of summer camp paired with the purposefulness of academic excellence

What You Won't Be Doing

• Standing at the front of the room delivering traditional lectures all day

• Creating literacy curriculum or serving as the primary reading instructor

• Drowning in paperwork, endless grading, or detailed lesson planning

• Working in an environment that lacks either technological innovation or genuine joy

• Implementing behavioral management techniques without addressing the whole child

Learning Coach Key Responsibilities

Your core mission is to empower our youngest learners to develop the essential habits, self-confidence, and emotional regulation skills necessary to thrive within Alpha's innovative, technology-enhanced learning environment where progress happens at an accelerated pace.

Basic Requirements

• Ability to commit to Full-time, in-person work at our Miami, FL campus (non-negotiable)

• Bachelor's degree or higher in any discipline

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with children ages 4-8 in educational settings, after-school programs, sports coaching, or comparable environments

• Proven track record of inspiring and effectively managing groups of young children through a balance of clear expectations and engaging approaches

• Demonstrated commitment to personal development and receptiveness to feedback

• Authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Specialized credentials in early childhood education methodologies such as Child Development Associate (CDA), Montessori certification, or Reggio Emilia training

• Background supporting literacy development or collaboration with reading specialists

• Experience with educational technology platforms, particularly adaptive learning systems or personalized learning tools

Working with us

This is a Full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
