Project Manager



Civic Construction specializes in high-rise residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments throughout South Florida. Our team is committed to delivering quality construction, on time and on budget, while building lasting relationships with clients and partners.

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and drive construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, with proven project management experience and the ability to lead both field operations and office coordination.



Job Summary:

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing all phases of the construction process, from planning and procurement through execution and closeout. This includes managing project teams, budgets, subcontractors, and schedules, while ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations. The PM is also directly responsible for all site and project staff, and serves as the main point of contact for clients throughout the duration of the project.



Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project planning sessions to define scope, schedule, deliverables, and milestones

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans using tools such as Microsoft Projects, Primavera, and Procore

• Oversee and direct site and project staff, including superintendents, field teams, and assistants

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain workflow

• Monitor performance and progress, adjust plans as necessary, and report on KPIs

• Manage project budgets and control costs to meet financial targets

• Review and approve RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications

• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks throughout all phases

• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and contractual obligations

• Facilitate regular communication with clients and internal leadership



Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred)

• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial or high-rise construction

• Proven leadership skills with experience managing field personnel and site operations

• Proficiency in Excell, Primavera, Projects, Procore, Bluebeam, and related tools

• Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, and risk management

• Excellent communication and team coordination skills

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities

• Familiarity with IT infrastructure and product management is a plus

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
