Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director, Enablement to lead and transform our enablement function for all Go-to-Market (GTM) teams, including internal and external Sellers, Technologists, and Partners. You will also spearhead the revitalization of our technical customer certification program, ensuring its relevance and impact in the market.
This critical leadership role will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering world-class training programs that drive revenue growth, improve technical proficiency, and enhance partner effectiveness. A key focus will be on leveraging the latest learning management tools and exploring the potential of AI to create engaging and impactful adult learning experiences. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record of building high-performing teams and managing external content agencies effectively.
Responsibilities:
• Strategic Leadership & Vision:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive enablement strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives and GTM priorities.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of enablement programs and initiatives.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in learning and development, including the application of AI in enablement.
• Champion a culture of continuous learning and improvement across all GTM teams.
• GTM Training Programs:
• Design, develop, and deliver engaging and effective training programs for internal and external sales teams, in support of role-based competency frameworks, product knowledge, competitive positioning, & GTM execution.
• Create and implement comprehensive technical training programs for Sales Engineers and partners, covering product deep-dives, technical demonstrations, solution architecture, and implementation best practices.
• Tailor training content and delivery methods to meet the specific needs of different GTM roles and learning styles.
• Oversee the scheduling and logistics of training sessions, workshops, and webinars.
• Design & deliver Citrix annual Sales Kick-off, inclusive of learning experiences & hands-on practice tailored to key roles across Citrix GTM teams & Partners, enabling successful execution of Citrix GTM strategy.
• Technical Customer Certification Program Revitalization:
• Lead the complete overhaul and modernization of our technical customer certification program to enhance its value proposition and market recognition.
• Define badge & certification tracks, learning paths, and assessment criteria that align with industry standards and customer needs.
• Develop and manage the creation of certification content and examination processes.
• Implement strategies to promote and drive adoption of the customer certification program.
• Learning Management System (LMS) & Technology Adoption:
• Drive the strategic adoption and optimization of our learning management system and other relevant enablement technologies.
• Explore and implement innovative learning technologies, including AI-powered tools, to personalize learning experiences, automate content delivery, and enhance knowledge retention.
• Ensure the LMS is effectively utilized for content management, tracking progress, and reporting on training effectiveness.
• Work with IT & the LMS vendor to ideate, request & track the functionality & features needed to deliver both GTM & customer-facing programs.
• Team Building & Management:
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of enablement professionals with expertise in learning path design, technical training, and program management.
• Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
• Effectively manage team workload, priorities, and performance.
• Content Strategy & Management:
• Develop and maintain a centralized repository of high-quality enablement content, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and accessibility.
• Establish processes for content creation, review, and updates.
• Effectively manage relationships and budgets with external enablement content agencies and vendors.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Partner closely with Sales Leadership, Product Management, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partner Management to understand their enablement needs and align progr
