Job Description
We are conducting a retained executive search for a confidential clientâa nationally recognized, private equity-backed advisory firmâto identify a Family Office Services Leader who can drive exponential growth and innovation across a thriving national platform.
The firm is on a mission to 4x its growth over the next 5 years, and this is a true âbuild opportunityâ for a strategic leader with both a deep network and the ability to generate and expand client relationships. The ideal candidate is a recognized player in the private wealth and private investment (PEI) space, with a reputation for being a business catalyst and a strong presence in the outsourced accounting and family office market.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the strategic builder and leader of the Family Office Services practice, owning P&L, client relationships, and delivery excellence.
• Lead and scale a high-performing team focused on outsourced accounting, consolidated financial reporting, bill pay, and family office administration.
• Actively expand the firm's footprint in UHNW and family office markets, leveraging your network to drive new client acquisition.
• Work closely with internal tax, advisory, and estate planning experts to offer a seamless, high-touch client experience.
• Identify, pursue, and lead inorganic growth opportunities, including team acquisitions and lateral hires.
• Champion modern technology platforms and process innovation across service delivery.
Ideal Candidate Profile
• 17+ years of experience in the private wealth, UHNW, or family office advisory space, ideally including tenure at firms such as the Big 4, large national firms or large multi-family offices.
• A true business catalyst with a deep network, strong client relationship skills, and a proven ability to acquire and grow client relationships proactively.
• Brings their own book of business or referral base, with the credibility to expand existing client relationships and accelerate firm growth.
• Strong leadership and team-building experience, including the potential to bring a team or scale new service offerings.
• CPA or equivalent credential preferred.
• Hands-on experience with family office structures (LLCs, LPs, trusts), outsourced accounting platforms, and consolidated reporting tools.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to drive top-line revenue and strategic visibility within the firm.
