POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for coordinating a variety of HR general functions with an emphasis in employee relations, productivity monitoring, and systems management. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

A minimum of two (2) years of current work experience as an HR Generalist in a corporate environment.

Working knowledge of employment laws, guidelines and other applicable local, state and federal laws

Demonstrated ability to foster positive employee relations and partner with management to drive HR and Business initiatives

Bachelor’s Degree or currently pursuing degree in HR Management or current SHRM Certification (PHR, SPHR, or GPHR) or two (2) years recent experience in handling workplace investigations

Proficient skills in programs such as MS Word, Excel and Outlook. (must be familiar with if statements, complex formulas, vlookups, countifs, conditional formatting, pivot tables and reports)

Must have advanced communication skills in English in order to communicate at different levels throughout the organization and with exterior organizations, candidates, etc.

Must be able to speak, read and write in Spanish.

Must have the ability to read and write at an Advanced level in a business environment

Possess high energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with normal activities

Possess organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and be detail-oriented

Ability to work independently with limited supervision, multitask and possess strong initiative

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, vendors and fellow employees

Ability to think logically, establish and follow procedures, instructions and make sound decisions

Ability to exercise independent judgment within established systems and procedures

Ability to work a flexible schedule, extended hours, holidays, and/or weekends as needed

Preferred

Proficiency with HRIS systems is a plus

Experience dealing with workplace investigations in response to allegations of discrimination

Prior experience using BI reporting


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary

Handles employee progressive disciplinary involving noncompliance with Company policies.

Responsible for reviewing disciplinary activity and for tracking employee relations metrics such as turnover, complaints, discipline, etc.

Perform Investigations related to Discrimination and or Harassment claims (within scope of authority) employee complaints ensuring full compliance with Title VII EEOC guidelines

Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation and conducts exit/transfer interviews.

Prepares productivity analysis reporting by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing system data. Proposes course of action for noncompliance.

Maintains Company systems and applications up to date. Involved in testing system enhancements and deployments. Offers suggestions for system improvements.

Assists with reviewing annual evaluations during yearly distribution. Files documents accordingly.

Monitors annual training compliance completion through the learning management system.

Helps maintain annual code of ethics disclosure logs, prepares resolution reports, and files documents accordingly.

Revise, update and maintain policy and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Stay abreast of and changes in applicable employment laws

Assist and support HR and Upper management to ensure that policy is applied consistently.

Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action.

Completes special projects by clarifying project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing, organizing information, resolving concerns; analyzing time and cost issues.

Secondary

Initiate, review, and monitor the completion of introductory and transfer evaluations. Files documents accordingly.

Responsible for the completion of phishing test simulations and retrainings assigned to employees with repeated offenses.

Perform other additional related duties as assigned


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use his/her fingers

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:

Reports directly to the HR Regional Manager, and indirectly to the HR Director. This position does not exercise supervision over any position.


CONDITIONS:

Indoors office, controlled temperature environment.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate due to telephones and employees that approach the department.
