Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team, specializing in multi-family and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the estimating process, ensuring accuracy in project cost predictions, and contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality construction projects.

Key Responsibilities• Prepare detailed cost estimates for multi-family and commercial construction projects.

• Utilize Procore and Accubid software for project management and estimating tasks.

• Analyze project blueprints and specifications to determine cost-effective materials and labor requirements.

• Collaborate with project managers and clients to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.

• Review change orders and manage their impact on project budgets and timelines.

• Prepare and submit Requests for Information (RFI) as necessary to clarify project requirements.

• Assist in bid preparation and submission to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Qualifications• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, specifically in multi-family and commercial projects.

• Strong proficiency in Procore and Accubid estimating software.

• Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost factors.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience with change orders, hi-rise and mid-rise projects is a plus.
