Dental Assistant

"This program is designed for persons who aspire to become Dental Assistants. Participants are prepared to perform limited clinical duties under the direction of a dentist such as equipment preparation and sterilization, preparing patients for treatment, assisting the dentist during treatment, and providing patients with instructions for oral healthcare procedures. This program is a career pathway that combines college coursework, mentoring, and on-the-job training.
