I have several established GC's in need of Jr- Senior Estimators in Miami-Ft Lauderdale.

About the Role

The Estimator will play a critical role in developing detailed and accurate cost estimates for ground-up commercial construction projects throughout South Florida. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical acumen, leadership ability, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and budgets for ground-up commercial projects.

• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to ensure accurate takeoffs and scope understanding.

• Lead estimating efforts and coordinate with project management and field teams.

• Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and ensure scope alignment.

• Analyze historical data, market conditions, and subcontractor input to support cost accuracy.

• Contribute to preconstruction strategy, value engineering, and cost-control processes.

• Manage multiple bids and deadlines with precision and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience estimating ground-up commercial construction projects in South Florida.

• Proven experience on projects up to $30M in value.

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or 10+ years of equivalent experience).

• Proficiency in industry-standard estimating and takeoff software.

• Strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate effectively within project teams.

• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines.
