This role will collaborate across teams, proposing and guiding engineering work while assisting team members in making informed decisions aligned with the technology department's strategic plans.
What You’ll Do
Drive Exceptional User Experiences: Lead the design and implementation of high-performance, responsive user interfaces using modern frameworks like NextJS, ensuring seamless experiences across devices.
Mentor and Empower: Share your deep expertise in modern front-end technologies (React, NextJS, etc.) and UI best practices to mentor and elevate team members.
Innovate with Modern Tools: Advocate for and implement state-of-the-art tools and methodologies, including working knowledge of NestJS for streamlined API integrations, and incorporate AI-driven solutions to boost development efficiency.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with design, product, and back-end teams to ensure a cohesive and intuitive user experience that leverages the best of modern web technologies.
Champion UI/UX Excellence: Identify and execute design improvements that enhance usability and interface performance.
Stay Ahead of Trends: Continuously monitor industry trends in modern frameworks, UI/UX design, and AI integration to ensure our products remain at the forefront of innovation.
Troubleshoot and Optimize: Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for front-end issues, employing advanced monitoring and optimization techniques.
Ensure Security and Accessibility: Implement robust security and accessibility standards to protect user data and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
What You Should Have
A degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline—or equivalent practical experience.
A minimum of 10 years of enterprise-level software development experience, with strong expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern UI frameworks such as React and NextJS.
Experience with modern development tools and frameworks, including a working knowledge of NestJS for API development.
A keen interest in and exposure to incorporating AI tools into the development process to enhance innovation and efficiency.
Proven experience in architecting and building scalable, high-performance user interfaces.
A deep understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization techniques.
Familiarity with CI/CD systems and modern development workflows.
A passion for outstanding user experience and intuitive design.
A Master’s degree is preferred.
