Cabinet Vision / CNC Engineer

We're seeking an experienced Cabinet Vision Expert to join our engineering and drafting team. This person will be responsible for creating CNC-ready files from AutoCAD drawings, optimizing and maintaining our Cabinet Vision workflows, and helping the company increase reliance on CNC automation throughout production.

You'll work closely with our Head Draftsman and Production Manager to ensure all jobs are accurately prepared for fabrication, bridging the gap between design intent and machine execution.Key Responsibilities

• Translate AutoCAD shop drawings into CNC-ready Cabinet Vision files.

• Oversee and verify CNC programs to ensure proper execution on the shop floor.

• Improve and streamline our existing Cabinet Vision system to maximize production efficiency.

• Create and maintain parametric libraries for recurring components and assemblies.

• Collaborate with drafting and production teams to identify and resolve design or programming issues.

• Support the transition toward greater CNC utilization across all departments.

• Ensure accuracy in material application, machining parameters, and hardware specifications.Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Cabinet Vision (Solid/S2M) in a professional millwork or cabinetry setting.

• Strong understanding of AutoCAD; ability to interpret and adapt architectural drawings.

• Familiarity with Innergy or similar ERP/production systems is a plus.

• Background in high-end residential millwork preferred; general cabinetry experience acceptable.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
