Responsibilities

Main responsibilities will include assisting the Senior Network Engineers in the design, planning, integration, migration and decommissioning of the following layers:-

- Outside Plant & Fibre

- Inside Plant & Racks, Cabling, etc

- DWDM

- SDH

- IP

- DCN

- Critical Infrastructure (Space, Power, Cooling)

- In addition, this role will require utilising bespoke inventory systems and will require individuals who have a methodical and logical approach to data analysis and manipulation.

- The role will also offer the chance to travel.

- Above all, we are looking for individuals with enthusiasm, motivation and willingness to learn and take on responsibility.

Skills required

Requirements

- Knowledge of telecommunication principles

- Conversant with Microsoft Office

- Good communication skills (written and verbal)

- IP principles and Networks experience desirable

- Advanced Excel or Access Skills

- AC/DC Power experience desirable

- Practical/hands-on experience with telecommunication equipment (routers, switches, etc)

Educational Requirements

- Degree or MSc qualified in an Engineering Subject
