As we continue to expand our services and make a mark in the transportation industry, we are in search of detail-oriented technician to fill the role of Manager, Pricing Implementation.
Your Purpose
The Manager, Pricing Implementation at Brightline will play an important role in accelerating our growth in passengers and revenue by helping us execute the pricing of our products that are bought and sold in the marketplace, all toward optimizing our overall financial performance. This position will report to the Director, Pricing and Revenue Management and will work in a hybrid capacity onsite at our Corporate Headquarters in Downtown Miami Mon-Thu and remote on Fri.
As Manager, Pricing Implementation, your primary focus will be leading a team of analysts and implementing Brightline's pricing across multiple platforms. You will oversee the execution of our pricing structure and promotional sales in both direct and indirect channels. Working in collaboration with the Manager, RM Operations to help the Director and commercial team hit revenue and ridership targets will be a critical part of your role. Additionally, the Manager, Pricing Implementation will develop and teach analysts about ATPCO processes and help develop S3 product and configurations to achieve maximum revenue potential. You will be tightly focused on optimizing revenue through fare and ancillary revenue pricing structures, dynamic pricing and yielding, demand forecasting, and predictive analytics.
Your Role
• Maximize Brightline's total revenue potential by leading a team of pricing analysts to implement pricing for products in multiple channels
• Assists the Director of Pricing & Revenue Management with daily fare changes and pricing new products and fare offers.
• Updates pricing for GDS products, fares, and promotions in S3 Passenger ticketing system and ATPCO to support pricing parity for direct and indirect channels
• Supports execution of pricing strategies through active monitoring of sales trends and adjusting as needed
• Develops, maintains, and analyzes reports to provide business performance reviews, pricing/yielding results, mix of business optimization studies, marketing and customer behavior, competitive intelligence, forecasting and statistical data, budgeting support, etc. Conduct ad-hoc reports as needed.
• Monitors and ensures rate integrity between website and all other distribution channels. Work with the support teams to ensure optimal website display for rates and promotions
• Drive sound business decisions based on insight from analytics, and optimization tools.
• Provide reporting and analyst assistance to all revenue-generating departments as needed
• Maintain Brightline's Pricing Structure and models, in addition to delivering on ad-hoc requests as needed.
• Track relevant market conditions that supports the business in making decisions to improve or change the way we price, build forecasts, etc.

Experience & Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
• A bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline with a focus in business administration, economics, statistics, mathematics, or related discipline is required.
• 5+ years of professional experience in a corporate environment within pricing, revenue management, analytics or related area, preferably in the airline, hospitality, or travel/leisure industry.
• Experience conducting complex analysis and research projects
• Demonstrated knowledge of statistical and analytical modeling; Advanced analytical skillset required using Excel and/or Power BI and able to work with data analysis tools, statistical/reference formulas, and pivot tables.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Detail oriented individual that can keep track of a complex and multi-layered pricing strategy across multiple channels
• Ability to teach and develop analysts to their full potential
• High competency in analytical software, such as Excel, SQL, Spotfire, Databricks
• Ability to effectively and transparently communicate strategies, performance results, and feedback to all levels of the organization. Ability to present, speak, and get points across in a clear way.
• Ability to cut through complexity and ambiguity, prioritize effectively, set clear goals, and operate in an agile fashion.
• Proven ability to coach, motivate, and lead a team to ensure goals are met/exceeded.
• Prior ATPCO/GDS experience is required
• Previous reservation system knowledge preferred
• Revenue management/inventory software experience preferred
Preferred
• Advanced ability with Excel and other database programs (e.g., SQL, R, Python, Access, Business Objects, Alteryx or Tableau).
• A Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a Master of Arts/Science degree, with a focus in statistics, engineering, operations research, or another quantitative discipline
• Prior work experience on a pricing implementation team at an airline that worked with ATPCO, Amadeus, Sabre, and wholesalers/distributors
