Job Description
Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with deep expertise in HVAC design. This is a leadership-focused position offering the opportunity to guide high-rise and complex MEP projects, manage engineering teams, and drive client strategy. The engineer will play a key role in shaping energy-efficient solutions, ensuring compliance, and delivering high-quality designs on schedule.
In this role, you will
• Lead HVAC design on large-scale, complex projects
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers
• Conduct energy and system efficiency analyses
• Represent the firm in client meetings and project strategy sessions
• Ensure compliance with codes, sustainability, and industry standards
Requirements
• 9+ years of HVAC design experience (high-rise and VRF systems required)
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Carrier HAP/Trane Trace, and Energy Gauge
• EIT or PE license highly preferred
• Proven leadership experience in managing engineering teams
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field required
• EIT or PE credential preferred
