Overview



- Position: Facilities Maintenance Planner ⓠScheduler / Project planner

- Industry: Facilities Management ⓠknowledge in maintenance

- Location: Miami Garden FL

- Reports To: Site Operations Manager / Regional Director

- Objective: Ensure the efficient, compliant, and effective planning and scheduling of facility CMMS work order, material procurement, contractor coordination, and project planning to support operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing and machinery environment.




Key Responsibilities


Schedule & Resource Management



- Develop and maintain detailed work schedules with achievable milestones.

- Track and adjust to meet evolving priorities and minimize operational disruptions.

- Coordinate labor, equipment, and material needs with internal teams and external vendors.

- Maintain KPIâs and reports daily/weekly/monthly

- Support Monthly Operational data and reports




Project Planning & Execution



- Plan, organize, and coordinate facilities-related projects ranging from maintenance upgrades initiatives to mechanical equipment upgrades or replacement.

- Define clear project scope, deliverables, and success criteria with input from cross-functional stakeholders.




Contractor Management



- Lead onboarding and orientation of new contractors and vendors in alignment with ABMâs compliance standards.

- Monitor contractor performance, ensuring timely delivery and quality adherence.

- PO generation through billing via financial systems




Stakeholder Engagement & Communication



- Act as the primary point of contact and coordinator for all project-related inquiries.

- Communicate project updates, risks, and timelines to internal teams, clients, and management.

- Follow up on action items to ensure accountability and progress.




Budget Oversight



- Support the development of project budgets and assist with ongoing expense tracking.

- Ensure financial discipline and that projects remain within approved budget limits.




Quality Assurance & Safety



- Implement quality control measures to uphold ABMâs service standards.

- Conduct site inspections and risk assessments; enforce safety compliance per OSHA and company policies.

- Drive corrective action when performance issues arise.




Required Skills & Qualifications


Education & Experience



- Facilities Management, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in project coordination or facilities management, preferably within the manufacturing sector.




Technical Competence



- Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, project management software

- Knowledge of facilities maintenance.




Language & Communication



- Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish preferred) to support a diverse workforce.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report and presentation preparation.

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate across teams.

Pay is $20-$21/hour
