Work You'll Do/Responsibilities


• Support the implementation command center for a new Epic installation at a rapidly growing organization by collaborating across global, multidisciplinary teams to drive successful outcomes and ensure a seamless go-live experience with ongoing support.

• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Epic Ambulatory, including any third-party integrations

• Exhibit meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of project delivery, ensuring that work is executed with precision and in alignment with established guidelines and quality standards

• Provide Epic design, build, and testing expertise and experience for assigned Epic module

• Follow guidelines for complex to critical issue handling and ensure that the team follows them

• Work with the existing Epic team to complete any last-minute build prior to go-live, work command center shifts to investigate, document, and resolve break-fix tickets.

• Lead a team and manages application enhancements, break-fixes, standard applications changes and maintenance activities

• Lead team meetings to discuss team and project related activities, work tasks, and issues

• Responsible for work assignment & prioritization across shores

• Work with application end users to design and build the Epic system in a timely and professional manner

• Assign and prioritize work across shores to ensure timely resolution of tickets

• Coordinate with the offshore team for continuity of build, deployment and support

• Conduct ongoing system build and configuration for assigned Epic module

• Develops, supports and maintains all required system design and build documents and other system documentation

• Completes specific team task activities as outlined in the project work plan and other job-related duties as assigned

• Drive discussions with business and functional analysts to understand the business requirements

• Creates and maintains regular status reports and provides verbal and written status to project managers and project leadership, as required

• Anticipates, prepares, and escalates upcoming issues/risks

• Performs detailed quality reviews/audits on deliverables and provide technical guidance to the team members.

• Identifies problems to reduce recurring incidents and identify improvementopportunities.

• Interacts with onsite client stakeholders, team members and offshore development, support team and other cross-functional teams

• Provides on-site support within the organization on an as needed basis

Qualifications


Required


• Must have an active Epic Ambulatory certification

• 6+ years of experience with Epic Ambulatory

• 6+ years of experience in healthcare operations, clinical environment, or healthcare IT setting

• Experienced in leading a team

• Solid analytical and critical thinking skills

• Build and maintain clinical documentation templates and optimize user workflows based on clinician needs.

• Analyze clinical workflows, propose and implement improvements using Epic tools and personalization features (e.g., Navigator, activity tabs)

• Familiarity with Epic Hyperspace build environment, including master files, registries, profiles, templates, and user roles.

• Experience with all aspects of testing lifecycle - unit, system, integrated testing

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience

• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
