Travel up to 4-5 days in a week.

This role focuses on generating new business opportunities, expanding market presence, and fostering long-term client relationships. Responsibilities:


• Create new business opportunities through cold calling, prospecting, networking, leads, referrals and cross selling

• Drive and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets by consistently identifying opportunities, converting leads into customers, and maximizing revenue growth within the assigned territory.

• Travel up to 4-5 days in a week.

• Develop strong client relationships based on trust, transparency, and a deep understanding of their unique challenges and goals.

• Make a high volume of outbound cold calls to potential clients daily, introducing our products and generating interest.

• Schedule qualified appointments and meetings with relevant clients.

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance on navigating regulatory requirements and implementing best practices in freshwater management.

• Conduct market research to identify new industries and business opportunities, and devise innovative ways to penetrate markets.

• Cultivate leads from media, outreach campaigns, and inquiries to initiate contact with potential customers.

• Develop and market an emergency response solution (toxic algae blooms) to establish footholds in new, unexplored territories.

• Provide product demonstrations onsite.

• Use a consultative approach to craft proposals and quotations based on defined scopes of work (SOWs).

• Develop multi-phase, multi-year relationships with customer stakeholders.

• Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.

• Maintain and manage your territory via the company's HubSpot system.

• Visit field sites to develop comprehensive solution plans. And Visit customers during project phases to maintain positive rapport and ensure desirable outcomes.



Requirements:


• Must -Fluent or native-level English proficiency.

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in sales. At least 2 years of experience in the water or environmental technology field, with strong knowledge of competitive products and markets.

• Bachelor's degree in Limnology, Aquatic Biology, Ecology, or Environmental Science; MS or MBA preferred.

• Demonstrated success in managing complex sales cycles from lead generation through to deal closure.

• Must possess a valid driver's license

• Experience in drafting and executing RFIs, RFPs, and participating in government contracts.

• Excellent writing and analytical skills, including the ability to prepare proposals, quotes, and detailed client reports.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills across all channels, including email, phone, and social media.

• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in HubSpot CRM and other sales tools.

• Persistent, resilient, and able to handle rejection positively.

• Highly organized with strong time management skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Familiar with AI tools.
