About The Role

We're looking for a CAD Drafter with hands-on experience in facade and glazing systems (curtain wall, windows, storefront, etc.) to join our team in Miami.

You'll be working on large-scale, high-rise projects (up to 60+ stories), supporting the development of detailed shop drawings and submittal packages for systems including curtain walls, window walls, sliding doors, railings, and more.

This is a shop drawings and fabrication-focused role - ideal for someone who has worked within a glazing contractor, facade company, or window/curtain wall manufacturer and understands how drawings translate into real-world installation.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and revise shop drawings and submittal packages for facade systems for multiple states

• Redline and update large drawing sets (often 200–300+ pages)

• Interpret approval documents (NOAs, FL numbers)

• Support engineering layouts and system detailing

• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and field teams

• Assist with material takeoffs and estimating drafting hours

• Participate in job site coordination when needed

• Help ensure drawings align with fabrication and installation requirements specific to product type and brand

• Manage your own workflow across multiple fast-paced projects

What We're Looking For

• 3–7 years of drafting experience

• Experience with glazing, curtain wall, or facade experience

• Experience producing shop drawings for windows, doors, curtain walls, or similar systems

• Comfortable working on large, complex drawing sets

• Understanding of how drawings translate to fabrication + field installation

• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume revisions

• Self-managed, organized, and able to track time + project progress

• Comfortable working on-site in a collaborative office environment

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD (required)

Experience with:

• Layers, Xrefs, and file structuring

• Dynamic blocks (highly preferred)

• AutoLISP or CAD automation tools (big plus)

• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.)

Nice to Haves

Experience working for:

• Glazing contractors

• Facade consultants

• Window / curtain wall manufacturers

• NOA or FBC Product Approval

• Spanish + English bilingual

• Autodesk certifications or technical drafting education
