Responsibilities


Lead and coordinate daily production activities to ensure manufacturing lines meet safety, quality, and output requirements in a regulated medical device environment. Supervise production operators, assign work, and monitor performance to maintain compliance and operational readiness. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and other support functions to resolve production issues, improve efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives.



• Supervise and guide production operators to achieve safety, quality, and production goals.

• Monitor daily line performance, identify issues, and escalate concerns to management as needed.

• Coordinate staffing and work assignments to ensure production schedules are met.

• Ensure compliance with operator conduct standards, including punctuality, break adherence, dress code, and overtime authorization requirements.

• Assist in maintaining capacity and performance metrics to promote efficient use of resources.

• Identify potential production or process issues and develop proactive solutions to prevent recurrence.

• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives to improve workflow and eliminate waste.

• Support cross-functional efforts with Quality, Engineering, and other teams to resolve production or compliance issues quickly and effectively.

• Support CAPA and NCMR activities by providing data, conducting basic investigations, and assisting in implementing corrective actions.

• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety requirements, and quality standards.

• Coach and develop operators, including Lead Operators, through ongoing training, performance feedback, and cross-training initiatives.

• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the production area.

• Provide timely and accurate production data, reports, and updates to the Senior Supervisor or Manufacturing Manager.

• Ensure compliance with company, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations.

• Backfill for operators or other supervisors when required to maintain production continuity.

• Perform other duties as assigned.




Qualifications


Required Qualifications


University degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience required. Requires a total minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience.


Preferred Qualifications



• Bachelor's degree in any field preferred; or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.

• 4+ years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in manufacturing or operations

• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred (medical device, pharmaceutical, or similar).

• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

• Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement principles preferred.
