A growing financial services team is looking for a SBA Collections Specialist to support its SBA Portfolio Management unit. This full-time role involves assisting clients with account inquiries, troubleshooting online banking issues, conducting follow-up calls, and negotiating payments. You'll play a vital part in managing sensitive client interactions while ensuring top-notch service and accuracy.
What You'll Do:
• Respond to inbound calls, resolving account questions and service concerns
• Help clients with online banking access, password resets, and wire transfers
• Make outbound follow-up calls and maintain client data tracking
• Handle complex issues and escalate when necessary
• Provide backup support for client emails and online banking messages
• Negotiate and collect payments with customers
• Multitask effectively while using multiple systems and maintaining detailed documentation
What You Bring:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in customer service or a call center setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism
• High attention to detail and multitasking abilities
• Spanish fluency is a plus but not required
• Experience with banking systems or Jack Henry software is a bonus
