High school diploma or GED. A minimum of three years of experience in all phases of maintenance, repair, and overhaul of diesel and gasoline engines and auxiliary equipment is required. Must have passed the General Knowledge Testing for the CDL at time of application. The DTPW classification of DTPW Rail Vehicle Technician (Track & Guideway) performs safety-sensitive functions and is subject to the provisions of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Drug and Alcohol Regulations. This position is a 13(c) protected classification and preference will be given to applicants represented by TWU.
