Qualifications
"Currently employed by Miami-Dade County as a Correctional Officer with five (5) years of continuous sworn employment with Miami-Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation Department, immediately preceding the examination date. Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, and three (3) years of continuous sworn employment with Miami-Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation Department, immediately preceding the examination date. Must have achieved an overall rating of satisfactory or above on the performance evaluation covering their most recent rating period. Must possess a State of Florida Correctional Officer
certification."
