Position: File Reader for Undergraduate Admission - International Applications (Temporary Position)


Job Responsibilities: The International File Reader for Undergraduate Admission will review and prepare undergraduate international applications for the admission committee. Reading undergraduate applications requires a strong sense of confidentiality. Documents that are reviewed include, but are not limited to, high school transcripts, international credentials evaluations, standardized test scores used to evaluate fluency in English, and essays. Readers calculate GPAs for all transcripts, which will include those with curricula beyond the United States. Employees are required to work a minimum of 20 hours per week and the estimated start date is the end of August.


Job Requirements: Successful candidates for this position must demonstrate a profound commitment to upholding confidentiality and safeguarding sensitive data. The ability to work effectively in an environment where discretion is paramount is essential. Skills related to basic math, consistent computer use, and excitement for puzzling through situations. This role requires a personal computer and the ability to sit for an extended period. Competitive candidates for this position would have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and have an interest in international education. Any appropriate combination of relevant education and/or work experience may be considered.
