Candidate must be a Florida licensed Medical (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.). A minimum of 4 years of experience in prehospital care is required. Must be board certified and currently active in a broad-based clinical medical specialty with demonstrated experience in prehospital care. Must possess and maintain a DEA License for Schedule II, IV, and V controlled substances. Must maintain current Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent, or Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) or equivalent, or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or equivalent, as determined in Rule 64J-1.022, F.A.C. Preference will be given to individuals who have completed an EMS fellowship and hold board certification in EMS and Emergency medicine.
