Job Description

A boutique investment management firm is seeking a Senior Operations Associate to join its growing team. This position will report directly to the Director of Operations and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of all investment-related operational processes that support the firm's Portfolio Managers.



Responsibilities

• Serve as an operational liaison between internal teams and external counterparties, including banks, custodians, and brokers, to price securities, facilitate trade execution, and resolve operational issues.

• Coordinate cross-functionally with Portfolio Managers, Accounting, and Family Office support teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency across all operational workflows.

• Oversee and facilitate the monthly client reporting process, ensuring timely and precise delivery.

• Generate, review, and verify trade instructions and settlement documentation.

• Ensure compliance with all internal policies and regulatory protocols, maintaining meticulous attention to accuracy and process integrity.

• Support various ad-hoc operational and analytical projects as needed.



Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in investment operations, trade support, or portfolio administration within financial services, wealth management, or a family office environment.

• Strong working knowledge of financial instruments, capital markets, and investment products.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg; ability to analyze data and prepare detailed reports.

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
